1. The Architecture of the Natal Chart: Ecliptic, Horizon & the Big Three
A Natal Chart is an astronomical snapshot of the sky at the exact minute and geographical coordinates of birth. Unlike newspaper Sun-sign columns, authentic astrological synthesis rests on the interaction of the Big Three:
- The Sun (Solar Logos): Your core conscious identity, vital purpose, and heroic trajectory through life.
- The Moon (Lunar Soul): Your emotional sanctuary, instinctive memory, subconscious needs, and inner yin rhythm.
- The Ascendant / Rising Sign (1st House Cusp): The eastern horizon degree rising at birth, shaping your physical vitality, persona, and the layout of all 12 Houses.
