The lunar year 2053 is the Gui You (Rooster) year (NaYin element: Sword-Edge Metal (Jian Feng Jin)). Under the official Vietnamese UTC+7 astronomical standard, Lunar New Year Day (1st of the 1st Lunar Month) falls on Tuesday, 18/02/2053, preceded by a 29-day short 12th Lunar Month (New Year's Eve falls on 29/12, with no 30th day). In Four Pillars of Destiny (BaZi) and Feng Shui, the solar-term year transitions at Start of Spring (Lichun) on Feb 03, 2053 at 16:12 (UTC+7). Astronomically, the 2053 lunar year has no leap month (12 regular lunar months). Notably, due to the 1-hour meridian difference, Vietnam (UTC+7) celebrates Lunar New Year on 18/02/2053, whereas UTC+8 calendars observe it on 19/02/2053.
