The lunar year 2080 is the Geng Zi (Rat) year (NaYin element: Wall-Plaster Earth (Bi Shang Tu)). Under the official Vietnamese UTC+7 astronomical standard, Lunar New Year Day (1st of the 1st Lunar Month) falls on Monday, 22/01/2080, preceded by a full 30-day 12th Lunar Month (New Year's Eve falls on 30/12). In Four Pillars of Destiny (BaZi) and Feng Shui, the solar-term year transitions at Start of Spring (Lichun) on Feb 04, 2080 at 05:28 (UTC+7). Astronomically, the 2080 lunar year contains a Leap Month 3. Both Vietnamese UTC+7 and East Asian UTC+8 meridians align on the same Gregorian Lunar New Year date this year.
