Why do the daily flying stars move in reverse on 10 October 2026? The calendar sheet follows the old mnemonic of Nhật Gia Tử Bạch (the daily Purple White stars): the stars fly forward for half the year and in reverse for the other half, anchored to the Giáp Tý day nearest the turning solar term. The four pillars and solar terms are calculated with the Meeus algorithm and the standard Hồ Ngọc Đức calendar.
