The lunar year 2024 is the Jia Chen (Dragon) year (NaYin element: Lamp Flame Fire (Fu Deng Huo)). Under the official Vietnamese UTC+7 astronomical standard, Lunar New Year Day (1st of the 1st Lunar Month) falls on Saturday, 10/02/2024, preceded by a full 30-day 12th Lunar Month (New Year's Eve falls on 30/12). In Four Pillars of Destiny (BaZi) and Feng Shui, the solar-term year transitions at Start of Spring (Lichun) on Feb 04, 2024 at 15:26 (UTC+7). Astronomically, the 2024 lunar year has no leap month (12 regular lunar months). Both Vietnamese UTC+7 and East Asian UTC+8 meridians align on the same Gregorian Lunar New Year date this year.
