The lunar year 2025 is the Yi Si (Snake) year (NaYin element: Lamp Flame Fire (Fu Deng Huo)). Under the official Vietnamese UTC+7 astronomical standard, Lunar New Year Day (1st of the 1st Lunar Month) falls on Wednesday, 29/01/2025, preceded by a 29-day short 12th Lunar Month (New Year's Eve falls on 29/12, with no 30th day). In Four Pillars of Destiny (BaZi) and Feng Shui, the solar-term year transitions at Start of Spring (Lichun) on Feb 03, 2025 at 21:10 (UTC+7). Astronomically, the 2025 lunar year contains a Leap Month 6. Both Vietnamese UTC+7 and East Asian UTC+8 meridians align on the same Gregorian Lunar New Year date this year.
