Thánh đường biểu tượng của Brunei, xây từ năm 1954 tới năm 1958 giữa trung tâm Bandar Seri Begawan, mang tên vị vua thứ 28 của Brunei. Mái vòm chính dát khảm khoảng 3,5 triệu mảnh kính trên nền lá vàng thật, tháp gọi cầu nguyện cao 52 mét, đá hoa Ý, đèn chùm và kính màu Anh. Thánh đường soi bóng xuống một hồ nhân tạo, giữa hồ có chiếc thuyền đá mô phỏng thuyền rồng mahligai thế kỷ 16.
