Tu viện Chính Thống giáo khoét vào vách đá dựng đứng Ostroška greda, cao khoảng 900 mét trên thung lũng sông Zeta, do Thánh Basiliô Ostrog lập khoảng năm 1665. Hài cốt của ngài giữ trong nhà thờ Dâng Đức Mẹ vào Đền Thánh ở Tu viện Trên. Mỗi năm hàng trăm nghìn người hành hương tới viếng, không chỉ tín hữu Chính Thống mà cả người Công Giáo và người Hồi giáo.
